Just got back from my dyno tune @ GST

After all of my questions, I decided that I trusted Mike to steer me the right way.

So - the stock turbo came out, the Blouch 16G-XTR went in


Look at this torquey little bastard.

The old Dyno with stock turbo only made 245.5 HP @ 5750RPM
New turbo 264.7@ 5750RPM
20WHP with no loss in torque (200RPM can't be felt)

Nice. Are there any other mods done to the engine as well? (i.e. Bigger Injectors, Headers, etc.)?

Nice, I was curious which way you ended up going with this. I guess nobody was able to talk you out of that turbo in the end, lol. What did the idc end up at with the stock injectors?

He's probably still maxing out IDC's if they are stock with a 16G. Bet it's pushing 95% or higher since even VF's can get you over 99% with simple stage 2 crap.

 

Surprised at the numbers though. How aggressive is the tune? I went to GST for the dyno day and put down 273 on stock injectors with a VF23. I was expecting a bit more hp from this?

 

You're making almost as much as I am. But I have a ej257 with a 18g, I made 278 whp. Also on GST's dyno.
