Turbo Heatshield Coating Question

I was wondering if anyone knows a place or someone that can coat one of my turbo heatshields with some type of high heat sealant or possibly ceramic coating in the Bay Area?

Also, I need to modify the stock heatshield on my 06 wrx to fit my vf39. Anyone know how to do this exactly, what to use, etc..? Or, maybe can someone help me out in doing it?

I use two heat sheilds, the stock one cut to fit and the SPT heatshield.

In order to make the stock one fit, you trim it with metal shears or a dremel tool. Start small by trimming small pieces out and then test fitting to see how it fits. It shouldnt be too hard if you have the right tools. An i-club vendor could also do it fast and cheap too.

I would think you'd want a heat shield with thermal dispersant rather than high temp coating. *shrug*

you can get ceramic coating in spray cans, you spray it then bake it in the oven.

Can someone elaborate on this?

This is all really good advice.
To cut my stock heatshield, would tin snips work?

Just don't use your own oven.
