New Tune From EIP...(Dyno sheet on Page 2)

well guys, I was recently tuned by EIP Racing in san jose by Paul who is officially a protuner. Here is the Dyno Sheet:

Size: 50.4 KB

the basline run was from the first tune which i lost , but my actual baseline was 219hp/224tq

This is all stock with absolutely no mods! i was just wondering if i am on par with what is expected?

Wow, no mods and a tune will give you 30 hp increase? That is pretty nice...I wonder what a full TBE + intake with a tune will do with his hands.

What are the usual hp increase with jsut a tune and no mods by tuners around the bay?

I put down 265/275 catless on the cobb base map. Was gonna be protuned but my car was running well on the maps and putting down decent power

I think 270/290 is about the norm protuned with a catless TBE

nice man ya i was thinkin of having my car tuned by paul but ive been hearing some mixed reviews about eip. they took days to finish my friends a4(4 months to be exact) and they said they hooked up my friend with sick evo parts when his car was in but they gave him some cheapo coilovers but then again mpj took their shop car there to get the work done and they did a pretty good job painting my front lip

i have had nothing but good things to say about EIP, they take very good care of me and my car. Paul is a great guy, just gets overbooked sometimes which leads to delays. but he does amazing work there nonetheless.

i would definately recommend him for anyone looking for a local tuner.

yup. I actually had a panel filter, gp moto elbow, and a Helix catted dp. I was tuned for "smoothness" but I think that was meant to be "you motor is slow". Guess my car was slow . Oh well I likes it. Someday when I am a ballah and I get these parts out of my garage and get them on the car and it will be decently fast. But like you said 50 times it will take a turbo, fmic, big maf, injectors, fuel pump, TBE to get 300whp (on the heartbreaker) on cali ****.

btw this is mt tune.

Looks like I get peak a little later in the game.

lol..man you really got me wrong. 250whp is not slow, its plenty fast for most anyone. I just wanted more and wanted to get there with ease, it was a personal choice/goal I made/set. Not everyone has the same goals or interests, hence not everyone drives the same car

Different folks, different strokes, thats all mang

Oh no worries. I wasn't trying to get the combat boots on, just stating what is real. You need more supporting mods with my car. And I think we have similar power goals. I wanted 300whp on **** and then also do a race gas tune (hopefully 360whp or close). I hunger for the extra 50 horses and I would have LOVED to do it on a catback and tune. In other news weighed my car and had half a tank and I was 3,050 lbs. I need to find another 150lbs to shave and I will feel like my car is "light" enough.
