I know some of you guys have trailers and big trucks. I know it's a lot to ask but I figured.... why not. I'd help someone out if I had one.

My wife's VW tossed a timing belt and it looks like bent a valve. I am researching options on getting it fixed and moved. One of them is to get it out to my buddies shop in SF. I may be able to get it AAA towed out there but I'm trying to find a truck and trailer that I can borrow or rent for a Sat.

Would have to tow it from Watsonville to S.F.

My back up plan is to do it at my place but if I do that it's gonna be down 6-8 weeks at least. Which means I need to try and track down a temporary car that I'd drive... which means I'd have to find something I can get my money back out of... so it'd have to be cool and cheap... good luck I say. LOL!

Durn VW. My fault for not changing that belt out.

 

Ray, let me know what you find. I was tossing around this option for the Benz. If we can only find a truck, we can split the cost of a uHaul trailer
