Has anybody tried these going up to tahoe? Was wondering how they would do up there at this time of the year until the end of snow season at tahoe

As long as you drive a normal pace they're fine. I ran them a couple winters ago. They are NOT snow tires but they will get you passed the chain stops and they'll get you up and back as long as you drive with your brain turned on.

These are awesome in the snow. I used to do 55+ on packed snow with great grip on these.

Do you already have these on your car or where you gonna buy some? Cause I got Kumho Ecsta AST's for $400 out the door a few weeks ago. Do killer in the snow. Just drove in about a foot of snow with them.

how much tread is left on your proxy's. when I went to tahoe with mine, I got stuck. Granted, I was really close to the warning indicator and my car was lowered, but still

That's not to many miles. Those should be good for quite a while. I burned through mine pretty quick but that's me... I kill tires.

So... those should be fine. If there an extra set I'd maybe check out one of the sets that have snow tires on them... might as well.

If there for daily use they'll be good.

I burned through mine pretty quick to, but I had lowered my car without an alignment.
