Bean bag gun, call the cops. Then sit and hope they go to jail for more than one crime.

Keep ****ing with an officer and he'll be met with the law.

Oh and btw... amazed that you didn't have cameras set up earlier... I mean ur a cop, I would have done that from the start since people just generally dont like cops. Especially those that are douchetards always breaking the law.

the only part planned is catching them. the beating of the kidneys can be saved for my partners at work.

my nieghbor called VVPD last nite because he caught them checking door handles walking down my street. vvpd showed up and did a ID check. they claim they saw the door ajar and shut it for the neighbor. cops knew they were full of it but couldnt do anything but give them a warning.
they have also started to throw empty beer cans over my fence during partys.

since im currently renting i didnt plan on being in this house longer than a year. ill be honest and say it was a bit lazy. i wanted to wire a camera system up correctly. i do have multiple flood lights wired up to the front of the house w/2 extra sensors.

the main prob with cameras is how they get handled after the fact. a decent lawyer could shred them as evidence if they were not handled correctly by local PD.

nope lol. that whole issue fixed itself. ive been asked to not say anything till his day in court arrives. let just say my new handheld camera came in handy lol.

as for the current thieves,no harm will come as long as they dont resist. im in know way saying i will beat them,i will simply do whats needed to prevent myself from getting hurt and my report will state as much. "i feared for my safety" is easy to prove.

Thankfully!!

It really upsets me that you have to worry about criminals (or their families or the DA) suing you if they get hurt while being a... criminal.

Just beat them stepchild style: no bruises and you're ok.

Just before the cops show up, just say "you fell down the ****ing stairs, and you hit your eye on a doorknob ok kid?"

QFT man.
Although from experience, they're not COMPLETELY silent, although they are comparatively very quiet.
