So I was doing an evo beat down last night. I gave him the boxster ownage in first and second, then came time for third and something happend... I heard a fat grinding sound and then third gear didnt grab, it felt just like neutral. It's like third gear doesnt exist. My car is still driveable, I just have to shift from second to fourth. Should I get it fixed or just buy a whole new tranny that can hold my power?
I don't get it, I've NEVER dumped the clutch, but I do slam the gears and dump the clutch after I shift in second.

wait so what happened to the tranny? and how did it cause the problem? i m worried about prematurely ruining my transmission, and just wanted to know how to not...mess it up. so 2nd gear, i should gently and slowly let the clutch out?
