For those who Traded thier WRX's in for STi, what course did you take in getting it? Did you trade it in? Did you sell your car privately then buy the Sti. I have about 10 grand left on my car but am thiking about trading in for an STi. Which dealership should i go to and where can i get the best price on one. Should i part it out and sell it stock or Sell it modded. Any feedback from anyone is appreciated especially those from STi Owners.

Btw..... I have a Stage 2(VF34+ goodies) WRX, Basic mods include JDM facelift (hood scoop, headlights grill , fog covers) Tinted , lowered wheels and tires.

 

sell the parts separate. trade-off on trade-in value vs. private party is the pain in the butt factor. you will lose more money by going through dealership but wont have to deal with a bunch of yahoos
(selling a used car is a major PITA)

 

you should part it out and try to sell it privately if you can... might take a while though.

I was offered 17k for my '03 PSM wagon with 26k miles. I couldn't get the APR and terms I wanted (it was about $36k out the door) so I walked out.
