Toy/Canned Food Drive..

In a effort to help out this christmas.. Show the public we are good standing people. (not street racers) Allot of people will be hurting this christmas. We can get a jump on this now the bigger the impact we can have.

I want to start a canned food / toy drive. Any help out there? We can use the local tuning shops out there as a colletion point. If they would like to get involed...

Lets show the public we are in fact good honest people with big wings... lol

so lets get Toys and Canned food.

Thanks to r-dub for this:

Most needed items are: meals in a can (stew, chili, soup), tuna/canned meat, peanut butter, canned foods with pop-top lids, low sugar cereals, 100% fruit juices in single serving boxes, canned fruit packed in its own juice, and low salt canned vegetables. Please do not donate items packaged in glass or bulk quantities of rice, flour, or sugar."

We could donate at grocery stores (the usually have a bin) and just put "From Bay Area i-Club.Com" on the can/food stuff.

Actually organizing drop points, pick up times, food banks and such is quite a chore and I would say the existing system of food bank donations at a grocery store work just fine (that will also cut down on gas consumption in all honesty).

Yeah... Good points.... But allot of us get work done at the shops too. I tend to over look the store front area as they as always over run with people looking for something.

I on the other hand would be happy to drop some cans off when picking my car up at a tuner shop.

The Toy Drives are always nice...but seeing where we are in this economy we need to feed those who can't/won't be able to feed themselves.
