theres at least 10K in damage there, so it depends on your insurance company but I would say theres a good chance since most insurance companys go buy if the damage is equal or more than 70% of the cars bluebook value. If they do total it out consider yourself lucky, around the bay area the blue book for subies is always higher than the street price. My ex just totaled our old 02 wagon, it was beat to **** and she probably could have gotten 7K tops for it on CL, insurance gave her 10K for it
And you would def rather have that then a car thats got a major repair on its carfax.
Best case scenario, take all your wheels/nods off, they total it our for $15K and you go buy a WRX

sorry to say it but your car is done. most insurance companies total out a car now a days when you get damage that adds up to 1/2 of its current worth and i can easily look at that and add up 4-5k in time/labor and paint and that assuming no suspension damage.

I think in california you can not go after resale value damages. So unless you love your car and will never part with it. Let them have it... Start with a brand new canvas and paint your own dream. I'm thinking if the door jam is bent. That car is done. I have also seen some really clean GC's for sale that have full STi swaps.... You could come out a head if this gets written off!
But just take it easy for now. let your body reset itself. It took a good smack.

my advice would be to take it to the shop that will give you the biggest estimate, you dont want that big of a repair on your carfax. If your in the northbay you can take it to Anthonys, they do all the SF ferrari work and charge and arm an a leg, if youre near SF take it to Cars Dawydiak, they do all of BMCs work, they will also give you a big estimate.

I said a 10 second car not a 10 minute car.
You could push this across the finish line, or tow it.
You couldn't even tow that across the finish line.
No faith.
I vote paint it green and get orange decals and NOS, lots and lots of NOS. NOSSSSS!!!!!!

1.) Glad to hear you're OK! Be mindful of aches and pains over the next few days though; if it hurts, go to the hospital!
2.) West Wind in San Francisco is also a really expensive bodyshop.
Good luck!
