Total noob question

Ok so I want to get the Blitz Nur Spec R cat back on my car with the up pipe and down pipe and a blow of valve will any of that stuff make my car not smog srry if this is a noob question thanks

Once you remove the cat & replace it with a straight pipe it's not smog legal.

man that set up is goin to be hella loud..i got a helix set up, i love it but its loud...yup once you remove cats your not gonna pass visual and the emissions part....nd that bov aint gonna cut it either...just keep all your stock parts, and when the time comes, throw them back on your car =)

So wait if I get the Blitz Nur Sec R with the cat in it I think it has one it should be able to pass right or is it the up pipe and down pip that will make it not smog? I am totaly lost srry

everything you want to do is not smog legal especially the up/down pipe and bov.

you might pass the sniffer with the catted downpipe... but you might not pass the vis, this depends on whose conducting the test.

it will not pass smog

(no cats), i have catless up and down pipes, with blitz nurspec R cat back.

Smog isn't just about emission. They do a visual inspection of your car for the exact reason why you're asking. There are cars that can pass the sniffer, but the exhaust system has been modified from stock. The visual portion takes care of this.

Of the parts you listed, the downpipe, uppipe, and bov will be easily noticed at most smog stations. Just hold on to your stock parts and swap it back when you smog.

technically none of it will pass visual. However, many people get away with a catless up-pipe because most smog techs don't know what they are looking at. The downpipe will not pass visual or the sniffer. The up-pipe should pass the sniffer as long as you have the stock downpipe. BOV probably wont pass, if you haven't put it on yet, you should skip a step by taking it out of the box and putting it right into the trash
