Whats considered a safe afr is actually a huge can of worms that I won't open.
definitely, max afr means almost nothing. Take a look at any dynos with AFRs, the low RPM always has a really high AFR.

________

Also remember, every car is different. My afrs are actually in the high 10 range because my car likes to run a bit rich. Does it matter? Not really, my car is running extremely smoothly, (I just got it tuned on Sunday and get a HUGE smile every time I take it to redline) and I know it's running safely.

I'm just surprised he was able to get a quality tune in less than an hour.
