Topspeed Dyno sheet? Has anyone ever seen one?

EDIT found a dyno and posted on page 2, plus you get to skip all the nonsense and nut nutbusting

So a "buddy" in FL has an '06 STi. Recently he was tuned with just a catted tbe. He has the AP1 also.

His results on a Mustang were:

303awhp/320awtq on 93oct.

Possible? I have NEVER seen anyone making over 280awhp on a mustang with a catted setup.....

So I start searching 3 Subaru forums for dyno sheets from TS. I cannot find any! Waddup with that? What I do find is a ton of people that have been tuned by them and are claiming a ton more hp than "normal" for their setups. I just don't get it....

Doesn't the manufacture (Mustang) send calibration setting for all their stuff? So why does it seem that Mustang Dyno A reads dif from Mustang Dyno B?

Good question!! Maybe Mike can chime in.

I wonder if that's the same with other types of dynos.

All I know is that I make 37whp and 124wtq.

If you stand on a chair you will definately be able to **** higher than your 'buddy'.....that, or settle the matter in a school zone street race, either way, make sure you prove that 'your the man'...don't let his dyno chart beat your dyno chart...that would be catastrophic.

Some dynos read higher than others, they probably have theirs reading alot higher to make their customers more satisfied with the results..

Hey man, don't get in the way of me wagging me e-*****! Hahaha just trying to figure the huge diff between all the "numbers" (as I have seen no dyno info) from Topspeed vs Bay area Mustangs

The way in which a dyno reads is completely up to the dyno operator in charge. Even mustang dynos, which read notoriously low, can be manipulated

The real gauge is what a stock STi baselines at on that dyno, and what that 303whp car will run/trap in the 1320

The dyno still has to be calibrated by the operator. the only real meaningful data from a dyno is your baseline vs. your tuned results.

trudat. I guess I am just trying to figure out the "dyno calibration".

I was at a local shop last weekend and I heard a tuner that was from out of the area talking about when he first got his Mustang, he said the shop he bought it off had the roller setting @ 4k where I guess where I was at the shop set theirs to 3500. Dunno what that means but I am assuming that at the end of the calculation the starting number effects the estimated hp/tq?

People are too wrapped up with numbers.

Should be about durability, driveability, consistancy. If a car puts down huge numbers but blows up what's the point? Or it's undriveable, etc.

I'd rather have a car with 290whp that's fun as hell to drive and lasts 100,000 miles than one that has 320 and blows up after 10,000.

I measure the size of my dick a bit different I guess. Long as the wife is happy who cares.
