so umm, since they revealed who it was, is he retiring as the Stig? I don't keep up with Top Gear as often as I should.

 

he is not the stig they show at the end of the episode he is not. they had him on there because he had to test drive the ferrari fxxx

 

yeah, if you watch the whole ep (which was awesome with the new lotus) he's not the stig.

 

He wasn't in traditional Stig attire, which seemed odd.

 

I honestly dont think Shummi is the stig. my theroy. the FFX was on loan from Ferrari, Shummi is ferraris driver, they didnt want anyone else besides him driving their million dollar car, so they bring him out to drive, and clarkson decides to mess with the audience.

 

The FXX belonged to Schumi. If I had a two million dollar car, I would also test it myself for the show. I doubt that he's the white stig, at least full-time. I think the job is probably shared by several drivers.

Shummi actually was given the fxx by Ferrari and from what i recall it was the last one made ( before they came out with them sthe second time) and his is the onlyone that is "Murdered OUT"

I have to say that Shummi is a very classy guy for how he handled some of the questions.

 

yeah not teh STIGS! But damn, that FXX pulled a 1:10 thats like 8 seconds quicker than the Enzo!

 

michael shumaker is the only owner of a black fxx (has owned one for a long time) which is how i knew it was gonna be the shoe-maker.

but it's not him like you said.. i think it was just to gain hype/viewers for that episode.. which might i add..

i would kill for that Vincent blackshadow bike hammond got to drive!!!! screw the gsxr, hayabusa etc etc... that vincent is a real bike!!!
