How is that commute on a regular basis.

Reason I ask is cause I am from Santa Cruz and really want to move back but there is little to no work in the graphics field there so I am pretty much looking to job search from like Santa Clara to Monterey and try to get work in like 6-8 months. Need a new portfolio first and I don't have time cause my lease is up next month so I have to move now. Hopeing to get a 6 month lease and move back to SC when it's up.

Also...person talking about the storms in the south. It's freakin crazy out there. I was out there last sept I think it was. I went golfing....bought the 13th hole it started raining. 14 it was horrizontal and hitting the shield about 4 inch diameter splashes. Everyone bolted...carts going everywhere. I came in....I came to texas on business and planned to play 3/4 rounds....that was my only one...I was pissed so I went back out to finish. Everyone was like....what the hell...you're crazy.

i finished. I literally had no dry spots on my body...NONE. every time I swung my club went flying..... I shot a freakin 86....one of my best rounds of the year. par'd 3 of the last 4 holes.

anyone remember the rains in 98.....I used to live on mission....the entire street was mud...it was gone....crazy stories from that winter....including pulling a dead body off 680 by scotts creek.

took me 2 hours to go across the bay bridge. 1+ hour getting past the toll, and another 1 going over the bridge. apparently, hella cars were dying in the middle of the road

they have their own power supplies so I doubt that would happen. But if indeed it did that would suck.....a really really big one. Having to walk out of the tunnel.

I did get stuck in the tunnel for about an hour one time...just went to sleep.
Think someone jumped in front of a train that time.

I've had delays for more reasons than I can remember. lady having a baby on my train. Suiciders. A dang dog. Car on the tracks. Fires. Break problems. Lazy stupid operaters. Etc....

i think that's what happend in new york, last summer when they had that black out. people had to walk in the tunnels of the MRT. just from standing on the platform smelling the urine and inhaling the humid air, i already know that those tunnels must be infested with rodents and who knows what else. in addition, having to walk that in the dark (ok, so there are a couple of flashlights)...and again inhaling the air in there!!!!!!!!!!!

the walk from bart to my apt prolly makes travel time the same, now that i dont get a free AC transit bus pass. my profile location is somewhatdeceiving. my home is in palo alto, where i'll be on non snowing weekends. i never moved out of my apt since graduating from cal, since it's closer to work inSF. so it's like a 3 way commute
