Today at AutoHQ (7-28-08):

Axle install on Outback left over from Saturday.

Installed Cusco Zero 2e coilovers with Swift Springs on 04 STI. Then put on the new Volk CE28N wheels and Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R tires. Next step--fender roll and suspension tuning: Let Kevin work his magic.

Modified customer's intercooler NOS sprayer to spray from both sides (to spray the IC more evenly), and installed Hella Twin Supertone horns.

1. Spark plugs and front brake pads on an 04 RX-8

2. Ballz and Gibz came by the shop this morning to hang out, and then Leo (Detail Addict) came this afternoon.

3. Brandon went to Blacktrax for a sweet deal on a used rear bumper and OEM grill from Nat (aka blacktraxgirl). She still has lots of 04 STI parts left to sell.

4. Minor service on a Mazda 3.

5. Replace alternator belt on Sam's Integra. Yes, this is the same Sam who is converting an L into a WRX in dad's home garage.

6. Double checking everything is good (and it was) on an S2000, the same one that we just replaced the head gasket.

7. Sam, the GC conversion masterblaster, finished prepping the 2.5 RS for drivetrain removal. We will be dropping the engine, tranny and more tomorrow, thanks to Sam's hard work to get the car ready.

8. Reinspect WRX after return repairs for previous dealership bad engine work.
