Damn!, sorry to hear Joe. Ironically, we have a silver wagon here that looks pretty similar to yours. We've also had an 03 silver wagon rear deck lid here for almost 2 years, now there's 2 silver wagons that could use it. Sounds like yours will be taken care of by insurance. Good Luck and hope you're well.

I thought that's why you have a WRX...

...to keep those "following way too close" at a longer range.

The really sad thing was, I tapped my brakes to let him know that the traffic was stopped ahead and then I swerved to the right to give him some room and he still hit me. I don't know what else I could have done. Drive safe everyone.

Funny thing is I was just starting to mod my car and plans on getting a tbe and ap and possibly brakes.

Didn't we actually come to a complete stop before he hit us. Or was I that out of it so early in the morning?

Yeah, I was completely stopped. I had tapped my brakes earlier to warn him because the cops had stopped traffic ahead. I slowed and stopped. He kept coming, so I released the brakes and rolled forward and I cranked my wheel to the right to give him room and I stopped again. Didn't help.

My car's out till early Feb. Grand total: $7000+

edit: Maybe he should have taken the advice of a one legged man.

My ride got hit recently too. $750 so far just for a front bumper, might be more for internal crash stuff. The bad weather seems to make people drive careless

On the way back from Tahoe, there were people doing the same crazy stuff. People passed us while we were in the fast lane, then cut us off. This is during a rain storm that was making me poop my pants. Also half of these people cutting us off didn't have their lights on and were invisible in the storm until they hit their brakes after almost slamming into the cars in front of them which didn't have their lights on. FUN!!!
