Angry Tis the season for Subies getting hit.

Here are some pics from my little accident in Tahoe a week ago. Thanks to all those guys w/ body shop help from my previous post. Price for repair is at $5000 and climbing. Since a lot of us are getting hit these days, I thought I'd share. Pics courtesy of andyc.

Damn. Sorry to keep seeing these. Glad to see that most aren't I-clubers faults, and that everyone is coming out of the accidents in one piece.

good luck with the repairs.

Angry

I took it in to Larkfield Body and Paint because both insurance companies approve of it and they do quality work. I'm going to pay the deductible and have my insurance company go after them. I got tired fo the waiting for the other guys insurance company to say what they want to do.

Hope you're ok, getting hit from the back like that can cause some serious neck/back injury.

ditto...as long as you're okay that is all that counts. you can fix/replace a car, not your body.

those pics make me sad tho

make sure you get that back/spine checked and then rechecked before the 1yr settlement period. you're allowed 1yr from the date of teh accident to bring suit.

i was involved in a similar accident about 4yrs ago and my back has never been the same ever since...

Thanks for the info. Luckily, I don't think anyone was hurt. The passengers and I saw it coming and braced for it.

Wink

yep...tis the season...i was driving 75 in the fast lane, then a 4 door acura, heavy car with no suspension, passes me and makes a lane change where he proceeds to fish tail and hit the wall head on doing 80...he slides sideways blocking the fast lane, so i down shift and merge to the slow lane...then the car unlodges off the wall and goes backward across the freeway and i t-bone him and push the car off the freeway. His car was totaled completely and mine had a damaged bumper, and 1 damaged fender, oh ya he broke a fog light too...well it wasnt my fault so insurance is sueing him. I guess its time for sti hood scoop, and aftermarket bumper...
