Hmmmm.... I've had Falken 451's for a while now. According to the only comparison I could find, they were comparable to the GSD3 in the wet (and they are awesome in the wet) and a little better in the dry. Mine are wearing thin now. Do I go for another set of Falkens or jump on a GSD3 deal?

And Matt, I had the ES100's before the Falkens, I must be the badass driver since I never wrecked huh?

I had a set of ES100's before too, luckily they wore out quickly and then I grabbed a set of Hankook K104 which weren't much better, I've pretty much worn them down to slicks. The F1's just came by UPS today, it took about a day to get here from when they said they sent it which is really good. I'll get them on sometime this week.

For those of you still deciding the deal looks like it's running until

June 17

I am thinking of buying these since they are so damn cheap and keeping them in my garage for when my FK451s are toasted.

I live in Sunnyvale, I bought the 215's so I'm not sure how good of a comparison it would give you. If 215 comparison is cool with you just let me know and you can check 'em out if you want.

That is exactly what I want to compare.
My Pirelli PZero Nero M+S in 215/45/17 were wider then either my Falken 225/45/17 tires.

I want to know if the goodyears are the same way, or if they are smaller then the falken 225s.

mcdrama : granted it is an "apples to grapefruits" comparison, but in the sizes of the GS-D3s on my Impala (285/40R17 front, 315/35R17 rear ) the GS-D3s run wider than either my previous tires (Yokohama AVS Sports = makes RE92 wet traction look good ) or VictoRacers.

In other words, if anything they look to "run wide".

Gagan : the GS-D3 would be a decent to pretty good WET tire for autocross. For the dry, the RS-2s you have now are definitely better

Yes, it's a good size. The difference between that and stock is .1%

totally. like gagan said, its almost identical to stock diameter. the whole reason i got the rs wheels was to fit 225-50-16. 16x7 yo. also they fit 4-pot under them but my snow tires are on my oem wheels so no 4-pots for me.
