outta curiosity...im going to be getting tint done down in omega tint werks of course and i live in fairfield...anyone in the area or the town that has tint on any of their cars ever get horribly hassled? im doing the rear 3 windows probably a 20-30ish and the fronts (yea i know theyre illegal, i dont care since other cops have THEIR fronts tinted so F'em) and im going to have the fronts done a 40-50...so it blends and still keep out some light....sooo please gimme ur thoughs!
dunno if this matters...i have an 01 RS 4dr...will be having a stromung catback commin' soon...i doubt it will add much attention since it appears OEM

 

I work in vacaville and I got a ticket in vacaville twice and once in fairfield by CHP.

I ended up removing it.

 

I've had my windows tinted for 5 years now and not one time have I been pulled over for it.
I guess it's just luck.

I lived in Fairfield and Vallejo

 

I've never been snagged for it, but that's probably because I drive a '93 turbo wagon and no cop knows **** about my car. I also live in Oakland where the cops are looking for much worse offenses than my stupid little tint. Just do it and if you get a ticket, take it off.

Oh, and my sister is rocking 35% all around and she's never been f-ed with and she's been living in San Diego for the past two years.

I'm in vacaville every week or so and have come across some cops, they never gave me problems, but i only have 50% front tint. I've heard from friends that they're pretty hard on people with tint, a buddy of mine with mirror tint that lives in vacaville was ticketed and had to remove it
