gphone is crap, it's made by HTC the same company that made the tilt, Worst phone ever!! I would go with a blackberry bold, or the 3g I phone. I have each and I have to say that I like the iphone more then any phone I have ever had.

 

i really hate att so im going with verizon once my contract ends.

the bad thing is i cant get any of the good phones on verizon. i heard the blackberry storm sucked. its slow and not as responsive as the iphone.

im trying to get the nokia n97 or htc fuse at this point, but once again, SIM cards dont do it for verizon

 

i love my HTC touch pro! i know the verizon version does have as much ram and MB but its upgradeable
my other choice was the BB Curve and thats a really good phone too.

 

initially the storm did suck really bad as ive read and tried it out myself at the store. but ive heard that with new firmware updates it is getting better. remember its only been out for a little over a month! give it some time and i think it should be a great. i do really like the iphone a lot and wish i had att to get an iphone, you cant deny there were and still are some issues with it. ive seen my friends iphone freeze on them time and time again. give everything time! nothings perfect when it first comes out! i still love iphone.

for those of us that have verizon and cant get an iphone just yet... i think the storm or the omnia are our best options. i just dont like the omnia because of WM! thats why im planning on getting the storm in a couple weeks.

 

I have an iPhone 3G and got it because it does all the crap I need it to do and more. Fits what I need from a phone well and somewhat organizes my life.

I also jumped off Verizon after almost 10yrs. Sorry, but being limited to crippled phones just wasn't cutting it any longer. So far no complaints with AT&T.

 

i currently have a verizon contract which isnt over until august and i dont think i can wait another 6 months for a new phone. they told me it is going to be $100 to cancel my verizon account which is do-able but would rather not. i also have a $100 credit in my verizon account which i can use towards a new phone. so im leaning towards verizon since i can get either the the omnia or storm for $100. i dunno though....

HTC Fuze or a Tilt... Windows mobile for the win!

 

I still love my Fuze. My wife got one too. No problems with either so far.

SBP Mobile Shell made it even better.

 

do you know if its still possible to download those game on the omnia since their both WM? schools about to start again and i need something to do in classs

 

I have an Omnia on the way... I can't get myself to go back to AT&T's network after having Verizon for the past few years.

 

No love for the LG Dare? I've had mine for 4 months and Its been great so far.

No issues with dropped calls anywhere in the Bay. Full 3G throughout.

It really boils down to what you need the device to do. For me it was: Email, web surfing, gps/maps, and touch screen. I can type faster on the virtual keyboard than I can on anything else.

Figure out what device does all the things you need done and for the cheapest price. But don't rule out the iphone just becuase everyone has one (they don't).

The social apps are cool. I wish the battery life was better because I'm always playing poker online. I also wish they would hurry up and add stereo bluetooth. Also I wish there was a shortcut to turn bluetooth/wi-fie on and off. Otherwise I couldn't imagine getting any other phone. The new Palm looks promising.

 

^^ were majority of those apps on your iphone free? wondering if anybody knows if its possible to d/l free apps on the samsung omnia?
