stupid ****ing idiots. I really feel they must've been ****ing around when the mauling happened. They are typical deadbeat punjabi guys. This one is REAL smart too, shoplifting Wii controllers days after his lawyer files a suit against SF Zoo.
SAN LEANDRO - One of two brothers seriously injured in the Christmas Day tiger attack at the San Francisco Zoo was arrested Thursday night on suspicion of trying to steal a pair of Nintendo Wii controllers from Target, police said.
According to police, at about 6:30 p.m., San Jose resident Amritpal "Paul" Dhaliwal, 19, was shopping at the Bayfair Center store when security noticed he had stuffed the items inside his pants.
"He walked past all the registers, never attempted to pay for the concealed items and walked outside of the store," said San Leandro Police Lt. Tom Overton. "Target security stopped him outside the store and put him under citizen arrest for theft."
Dhaliwal was booked for petty theft and was released at 2:50 a.m. today after posting $1,500 bail.
A controller for the popular video game system costs about $40.
Dhaliwal, his brother Kulbir and friend, 17-year-old Carlos Sousa Jr. of San Jose, were mauled by Tatiana, a Siberian tiger that escaped her enclosure as the zoo was closing on Dec. 25. Carlos was killed in the attack.
The Dhaliwals also suffered injuries in the attack.
The tiger was subsequently shot and killed by San Francisco police.
Zoo officials have said they believe the tiger was somehow provoked out of her enclosure, but inspections found that regardless of provocation, the wall to the enclosure was shorter than the required height.

cause that's my people. I'm not saying they are all bad or something, but he fits the deadbeat group of youth perfectly. Unfortunately there are so many of them. I have several in my family...
