Tig welder

Hey guys and gals,

Do we have anyone here who knows how to tig weld aluminum? The vessel in question will be 1/4 wall, 3" aluminum tube 12" long, I need flat caps on each end, and 4 AN-8 fitting bungs welded into it at specific spots. It will also need 2 aluminum blocks 2"x2"x4" welded to the side (stand offs)

I am plotting out a custom fit surge tank that will fit the spare tire well of the FXT and still leave room for a subwoofer, or other items (tool tray perhaps?).

Are you hitting fuel cut on your current setup?? Knowing what you have I am just curious why you would need a surge tank.

Future planing, I am going up to E85, and I have a paranoia about going dry in a turn. That is what killed the last motor (fuel cut hit playing in the hills, pinged, no more ring land. Stupid saddle shaped tanks)

Well plus, I really like to fabricate and design, and this one I have in mind is much more compact than most the tanks out there, and will work for wagon owners that don't have a truck to take the "standing up" versions that are out there. Stealth being the key goal.
