thumbs up to lazy SJPD

some of you may know, most of you may not, that on august 2nd, coming home from work, I got a ticket for speeding, unsafe lane change, + excessive noise (muffler) violation. He was also going to write me for reckless, but he reduced the speed he wrote on the ticket. he also said he should have written down window tints, no front plate, and emissions, instead of noise violation, after he handed me the ticket.

anyways i fought it through written declaration. got no response until now. just received a letter from the court saying that my case is dismissed. thank god...$318.50 back to me now

too bad i spent 10 bucks and paid the fixit ticket to put my silencer on to get it signed off...=[ could have gotten an extra few bucks to spend haha.

i am freakin overjoyed right now.

hey Ian.....did you use Ticket assassin? I got a ticket last week for speeding and the man wrote me up for fastAr than I was really going....I've been thinking of fighting it through written declaration, but am not sure how to go about it. What were the steps you went through? Are you supposed to wait until you get the notice to appear from the court, before you submit the WD? Any info will help...TIA.

-Ted

edit: GOOD JOB BTW! Congrats!
