Can you borrow one of the remaining EVOs on Wednesday night and drive it to Infineon (Sears Point)? I want to know a real world 1/4-mile time since no magazine has done a complete road test of the U.S.-spec EVO. All I've seen is a lot of speculation in print.

I just can't wait til someone lets me test drive a STi when they come out.
Just be sure to jot down the VIN from the STi so we know which car not to buy.

I just tried the U.S. Evolution also. The car I drove was faster than my stock WRX, but slow compared to my friend's Evolution in Japan.

I am surprised about the $9995 mark up!

Thats Funny as hell, I drove the Yellow EVO also on Tuseday night. The Handleing was really good. Not so impressed with performance, I thought it would be faster. When I test drove it I redlined 1st and 2nd. Sorry for the future owner.hahah

Yeah..... EVO.....

I tried it also. It was the yellow one. I was wrong when I thought it was sold.

I liked the car, it was quick and handled good. I think I will get one , after I get my STI......

Man, my hobby is getting too expensive!!!

Actually yes, I think mine is a little faster. The evo did not pull as hard as mine in 1st and 2nd. But when I was driving about 45mph and then got on it, the turbo spooled up alot quiker than mine when it was stock. But sitll would never pay 40,000 for it.
