Third Gen Impreza Roll Call
Well, to take it a bit back off topic, the 08+ get some pretty nasty oversteer, so I am looking towards getting a swaybar. Questions. How much will that positively affect my car, I am assuming Subaru offers an aftermarkey swaybar, how much will it cost, what are the negatives, if I go offroad, how will it affect it, what additional parts should/do I need to get with it, and do I really need it for a daily driver? And yes, I do drive my car on the hard side, if that makes a difference. Any and all input welcome.

Aftermarket swaybars for our cars will definately be worth it. Once you have it you'll fall in love. Look at perrin or whiteline. A good idea to buy some new endlinks while you're at it.

well.. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I really think the new style scoop is sooo sick. And I actually was contemplating getting the new 11 sti spoiler but I already have the little one and the holes don't match up. I would love to have an STI, for the looks and the power but for now I can only pay insurance on a 2.5i so I will work with what I have.

I like it a lot. Much better gas mileage and the 11s have BT including BT audio. I just need to get some stock wrx wheels for the summer since my stock ones are going wear like crazy.

I have endlinks and bushings for sale if you want them. https://www.i-club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=223446
So I'll just need the sway bar? And I doubt it would void my warranty since I'll just be adding a stock part right?

You'll still need a sway bar, a couple other bolts and nuts and two brackets. I have a list of the rest of the parts. I just happen to have these sticking around because I got everything I needed excluding the bar itself and when I got the bar it had endlinks and bushings still attached to it. It shouldn't affect your warranty, I have been to the dealership a couple of times since I installed it and they have never said anything.

Hahaha caught!
Hey robie, you may want to keep those sways just in case for warranty work, I have read and heard from many who want to take in their car for warranty work regarding suspension but can't because they aftermarket sways. Just something to keep in mind so if you even do take it in for warranty work or if there is an off chance you may need it in the future you won't have to scramble around.
