Was thinking of raffling off my WRX...
since it's for sale so I did a little research to make sure it was ok to do... in CA it's illegal for anyone besides a non profit to raffle stuff for personal gain.
Didn't know this. I wonder why that is?

Umm, you can semi-raffle it... Just sell it for a stupidly low price, then raffle all the people who are interested in it. Winner pays you a small sum and you still get to raffle =P

I knew there would be some good ideas on here. I would buy a ticket to win a car, especially if the amount of tickets were kept low...

Of course... I could sell it to you for what I'm into it for but you can do that where you work now, right? In fact, with trade in you can probably do better...
Speaking of where you work... where are the diesels?!!? Still got the RX?

Yeah, that CVT is a great idea. That with the TDi Boxer...
I've driven the Nissan Cube with a CVT and I will say that it's kind of weird at first.

BTW, Rat, I miss seeing you at the events man! This past annual event was the best to date! We changed the name from the hammy meet to "BAM" (Bay Area Meet), and held it at Stafford Lake in Novato. I was hoping to see you as I do every year. Every time I buy the veggie burgers I think of you.

I totally miss i-club people too... I haven't had an Impreza in so long... I've only had this one I've got here for about a week now and I have an '04 FXT coming in soon so I'll try to make it to something.
I ran into Huck the morning of BAM (he was getting his car washed) and really wanted to go but I didn't have a Subie in the fleet... just Smart Cars (I was still tempted)
