I like this one:

2008 Subaru forester XT 6spd STi

Anyone know the guy?
Stay away from that car... I know the seller from sf.org, and he has a shady reputation for cobbling together salvage Foresters and misrepresenting the quality of the work. That's all I'm going to say.

Yeah, it looks clean, but the valves having to be replaced indicates some fairly good size issue at one point and will have a timing belt due soon.

Side note.... Gagan... talk to Anthony. He dropped me a line about an XT that might be right up your alley.

OP: Don't think, don't hesitate, DO IT! if not that FXT another. Trust me on this, you will hate a NA forester, go FXT.
Very simple. I'm aware of the seller. I'm aware of the history of several of the cars they've built and sold and tried to sell. Their work is sub par and I do not trust it. I've talked with several people that have looked at that car and other cars they've built and they ALL have issues with quality of repair as well as the true damage represented... i.e. lies.

I've asked very simple question to this person and they gave me in appropriate responses with ZERO information in them.

So... I'm telling my friend not to buy it because i wouldn't tell my friend to buy something I personally would not buy.

If it is indeed the car I'm thinking of and the builder I'm thinking of. Which from a few other responses I'm seeing... it is.

Thank you folks for adding more detail about that '08. I was wondering what was up there.

I have a friend who has been talking about selling his black non-limited '05 LGT 5spd wagon. I am not sure where he is at with that. I can ask if there is interest.

OP I would say call the guys up at LIC, they have a magic way of turning up great deals, and seem to have the touch when It comes to tracking down FXT's
