conquest/starion are sick cars, but not good daily drivers.

I used to have a '88 Conquest TSI a few years ago with only 44K. My dad was the original owner and he took very good care of it, but it still had so many problems. They are very high maintenance cars.

Those things are tanks. Just make sure to have the original head gasket replaced as they are known to be a weak spot.

Had one as a beater, but had to sell it after a blown oil seal in the turbo broke causing the oil to spill out on a long trip. Engine threw a rod a little further down the road. Fun car when it was working properly though.

I've been looking for a Starion/Conquest! That looks like a good one. If you can, might as well, though I too am not sure about using it as a DD though. I like the looks of the Starion, especially the 88/89 EsiR model. That widebody looks nice.

Oh, and EG hatch AUTO? Why the auto, so no one will want to steal it?

its actually the torque specs for the stock studs...toyota says 50ftlbs! what a joke...the entire block has been built, ARP fasteners in the bottom and studs for the head, 3step torqued to 75lbs....in addition to a sh*tload of other parts

it is the heaviest one they made but VERY underrated...7MGTE =
