ouch. I almost saw this situation happen this morning with this lady driving a MBZ crappy230. She cut me off without signallling into my lane and then she started to get into the left lane and there was a Land Rover that she almost didn't see and she swerved to miss it and in the other lane was an 18wheeler. Luckily, she didn't brake and over correct. She finally stayed in the slow lane on 101 north when I passed her in traffic. :fighting0046:

^What she said.

Time for an STi!!!

or.... you can get an L and drop an STi drivetrain in, and make it hella badass.

The insurance company says it looks like it might be a total loss. They're inspecting the car Monday or Tuesday to know for sure. Like you guys are saying, it's an excuse to get a new one, so now I'm ready to move on.

Yeah, an STi would be great, but I can't live without a wagon. I got two kids and a dog. Plus, I need room for my bike and to haul gear for those winter mountain trips.

May be a Forester XT...it's not too hard to bring that up to STi power levels, right?

The Forester FXT is bad ***! It can be brought up to STi speeds without major mods.

FXT FTW, here's a few pics of mine:

To make my FXT run with my STI I did the following mods:
RevLabs Quick Steering Rack 11.5:1
Stoptech Brakes
Cusco Coilovers Zero 2's
Cusco Latlinks
Cusco camber plates front and rear
STI Aluminum Control arms
STI rear swaybar
Vf36 (twin scroll)
Jun Wastegate Actuator
Zerosports Turboback
Nismo Injectors
Fuel Pump
ECUtek tune by Shiganori Ara (AutoHQ)

My FXT is a BLAST to drive and can keep up with, and beat the STI.
