Thanks for the kind words.

It just happened yesterday morning on the way to work.

LOL...you guys can have the wheels. They are gone too. I smacked the center divide after colliding with a tree trimming truck that jack-knifed into my lane.

Yes, that was not a flat bed that pulled the car off the freeway. However, I didn't care at that point since I figured the car is a total loss. FWIW, the highway service patrol guy was aware that it's AWD, so he hooked the car without touching the front wheels. The front wheels were actually spinning freely as he towed it slowly down the 1st St. offramp.

The only thing I was able to pull before they put it in the tow yard is the XEDE unit. I don't think I'll be able to recover any other mods. May be the insurance company will be nice and at least let me swap the Prodrive muffler at some point.

I've seen you once on Mission blvd. and another time I think on 680N. Sorry to hear about the car... I liked your personalized plate.

I'm sorry to hear about your accident, but glad that you are okay. If you have any pain at all, do go and get checked out. Chiropractor was my life saver!

I was in an accident two years ago and lost my beloved car to a cow. Unfortunately there was frame damage, otherwise I would have gone the salvage route.

Looking at those photos, it does not appear that the frame is compromised, so it may well be salvageable - depends how much that car means to you. Insist on a full report before you decide what to do. Take your time. Don't be rushed by the Insurance company.

Do you have all your receipts for your mods? I'd done an engine swap and a whole bunch of other stuff. The first offer from the insurance was an insult and I told them so! Sent in 42 pages of receipts and they came back with a much more realistic offer.

Good luck.
