there is one here in san leandro I have talked to, that can wrap high power.

But be warned, the stock toyota housing does not take kindly to big wraps, and will burn out much faster. Your better off putting in a aftermarket one wire GM style 120amp unit like I did.

Why? Just source a one wire alternator and whip up a bracket to hold it in place in the stock location. Then you can go as big as 240 amps, or even the big 300 amp welding alternators.

Our motors use the standard Mitsubishi two ear alternator. You should be able to source one off a truck, or even a industrial unit that will have tons more output, that bolts into the same place.

i wanted to replace the core and increase my amperage for some more stable power and hp. but depending on which option will give me higher power + cheaper, ill go with that.

No, in that one I just have the stock 95amp in. The swap was on my old 83, had a 22RE, I just fabbed up a bracket to hold a GM style alternator for it.

Its really easy to do, take you a day at most to mod the mounts to take whatever one you want in there.
