Thanks a lot to the driver of a new black WRX
You are an idiot if you were the car that was going 100 miles and hour down Santa Teresa around 10:45 tonight because I was the one who just so happened to also be driving the almost exact same car, 04-05 black wrx with exhaust, and got pulled over and accused of speeding by 6 different cops. Luckily they didn't throw my *** in cuffs and luckily the cops have no idea what they are talking about when it comes to cars that they let me go with just a fix-it ticket. So if you come accross this thread be a little smarter when you decide to drive 100 down the most cop infested street in San Jose. The worst part is I saw the car drive by the scene while I was getting *****ed at but they were too busy with my *** to even notice it. AAAAAHHHHH!!! ( venting complete)
*********, it happened to my dad in fairfield. He was driving the z4 and some little ricer flies by going about 60 in a 35 and the cop tries to give a ticket to my dad. I think he fought it, cant remember lol
i'd contest the ticket on grounds based upon that wrx's are very common in the community now, and that the cops did NOT have a positive ID on the exact vehicle w/ plates... just a general description.
basically they're profiling. you stand a chance in court.
but since its just a fix-it ticket... then just do that instead.

This sounds unlikely, but it's true. The day after a new 2 Fast 2 Furious comes out the impressionable drivers go nutz on the road. It happens every time.. ricers go postal for 2 weeks after these movies come out and the freeway is a different place. Has anyone else noticed this?

And what fix it did he write you up for? (or... is your exhaust legal?)

That sucks you were getting harassed for someone elses irresponsibility, man.
I live in Almaden, as well. I am fine with all the cops, there are SOOO many damn ricers spinning their tires in the middle of the night around here with fart can exhausts blaring. Spoiled little punks ought to learn some respect. lol
I saw a kid get killed on Santa Theresa in November of 1989. True story. I was in the far left lane, and a couple guys racing in the two right lanes passed me doing 85-100mph or so. Someone pulled out of the parking lot of S.T. High and was broadsided by the car in the right lane a couple hundred yards in front of me.

I got pulled over in my old car going up to Mendocino for a Soccer tournament. The cop got me for 70 in a 65 and I of course asked him why he was so touchy with the speed limit when there were plenty of other people around me going faster. He said he only pulled me over because he had reports of a lowered silver honda civic with tint driving like a maniac and forcing people off the road. I got up to the tournament about 15 minutes later and there were 10 other lowered honda civics with tint there. I took pictures of all the cars and contested the ticket by writing, judge threw it out.
