I know you're excited, but I say you wait until mazda comes out with the 2 seater/2 door RX. They say they have 3 rotaries planned. The RX8 is just the first! Don't buy it and get disapointed when some 400 hp RX7 comes out or something...

I've heard similar things as verc. I still can't warm up to the styling of the RX8 though..

I have to agree with Verc, not sure about a third but heard Mazda was just "testing the waters" releasing the RX-8... they actually wanna bring back the turbocharged rotary RX-7

Now is not the time to buy an rx8. With the factory over-claiming power figures and the stong possiblity of a new RX7 theres no way Id get an rx8 right now. But thats just me...

If you're interested in an RX8, remember, you can always get the new Chevy SS

true... but a turbo charged RX7 will cost a lot more than an rx8... the more mazda does with this car the more its going to cost... also i need 4 seats... 2 seats doesnt cut it for me, too many ppl to lug around

i doubt if they do come out with a new rx7 it will cost that much more. In 93 the FD's were selling around the same price as the rx8's are right now.
