My buddy worked at Gamestop while were at San Diego State. He was allowed to open brand new games, play them for as long as he wanted, and return them back. I guess they would reseal them and sell them as new? We played NBA 2K3 for like a month straight, Madden, and whatever Tony Hawk game was out at the time.
My store is very lax. And that **** does not happen. We are allowed to check out a pre-owned game for four days. And only one copy of a title per month. No MW3 checked out seven times a month.
1)ALL gas/diesel comes from the SAME pipelines in a given area. I don't care what place you buy gas at, it all came out of the same storage tank.
2)The only difference betwene stations, is the additives they use. The additives go into the fuel at the filling pumps where the fuel trucks load.
Shell/76: use a blend of 5x the 'standard' blend
Chevron/Valaro/JP: use a blend of whats called "techron"
AM/PM/flyers/costco/etc...: all use the stock 'standard' blend
Now, there is no such thing as "bad" gas. Gas/diesel is a hydroscopic fluid, meaning it obsorbs water/moisture from the air around it. When you get a tank of 'bad' gas, it is because there was too much water vapor in the tank at the station at the time.
To solve this problem, use sta-bul or another fuel treetment in every tank. I keep a bulk supply (buy it in 5 gal tanks) and it goes into every tankful. The products help seperate the water out (making the fuel hydrophobic).
OH, and on octane. Higher octane does not mean more power! it means the fuel burns slower, that means a more even flame pattern and more effecient burn. However do not believe the hype of the "octane boosters" its crap. The amounts of product you would have to use to boost the octane past 92, are somthing in the order of magnatude of a gallon or more per tankful.

Almost every prank call you've ever heard on the radio is fake.
