Well I really like the FD, and the styling on the RX-8 is pretty sweet .... but I'd have to pass on this motor. Sure it has 250 BHP and it's a 4 seater, but it sure seems like a s2k.

Rotory motors don't respond well to abuse, well most things don't. However they have been prone to lots of problems in the past. Granted the FD had a turbo and a horrible cooling system, but I still need to know I will fail my car before my car fails me.

In the coming year's market I'd say STI, 350Z, EVO, and then RX-8.

Factors that come to mind are reliability, seats and cost.

If the RX-8 had a turbo this might be different but it doesn't and it seems to perform like a S2K. Which isn't bad persay, just doesn't feel that special.
