Mazda RX-8. Base model starting at $25,700. 210hp (more than enough for me) and 159 lbs/ft torque (less than my Sentra.) but it could potentially be the most beautiful car under $100,000 I ever seen. The top 'o the line is a bit above $30G's and is sportin 250hp and 162 lbs/ft of torque. A bit too rich for my blood.
I was thinkin about another RS to fix up and make fun but I don't wanna deal with tuning headaches or extreme tire bills or brake bills either. I just want a fun car. No drama.
I think this means I'm officially old now but I don't care anymore... all I want is that RX-8. Am I losing it???

You're not losing it. The RX-8 is one sweet ride. I saw the comparison test on Car and Driver TV and the RX-8 came in first over the G35 and Mustang Cobra.
It looks fun to drive and the styling isnt bad either. Plus it actually has a roomy rear seat.

I'm just waiting for everyone to jump down my throat with the lame for the money : "just get an STi" or "the Z is better" or "WRX + mods = RX-8 toast" comments which really don't mean anything to me but I just find the damn car SOOOOOOOOOOO beautiful.
How can anyone deny the HOTNESS??? Sure the back end could use some work but as a whole package... HOT.

The car does "seem" to be great, but, I witnessed two road tests of this car (Motor Trend/ SCC) and both times they broke the car...they don't usually write about that cuz the policy is NO bad press. Besides that is not " all we'll drive
but they are nice.
I hope you all (BADWRX) realize that the G35 Coupe is the new Skyline with the US engine...also my fav for a rear driver.

I think it's an awsome car and Mazda always had decent suspension...But since it is a new engine, I am aware that the engineering in it is much better, I wouldn't buy it first year out. I would consider waiting until it has been out for a year or two.
Just my thoughts,

Broke car = not cool at all.
I wasn't really considering buying it this year, cuz why would I wanna pay $50,000 for an RX-8 (yes something close to this will likely show up). Like Antioch said, I would definitely wait a year or two (cuz of the $ more than choice) and see what develops... Please don't BREAK anymore!!!

I just recently got the (Japanese) intro to the Nissan Skyline Series and beg to differ about the exterior...although the driveline will be quite different. It could change though.

Seriously.
