1st get hit from back at a stoplight when the light is read. (4/08)
2nd run into a curb <- my fault. (6/08)
3rd someone backs into me while im at a stop sign. (11/08)
4th stupid girl at school hits and runs my cars (12/08)
5th my friend backs into my car (1/09)
6th - today - my mom backs into my car...

my mom woke me up and told me she backed into my car. My car sits pretty on the driveway and her's goes in the garage. so my bumper is straight up cracked and the paint badly chipped. also some scratches.

i have got the be the world's unluckiest subaru driver. i will admit running into a curb was my fult, but the other 5 were 100% not my fault.

what a great way to start off the day on midterm day. sighhhhhh

if anybody's got 05 psm front bumper or passenger fender, let me know please. it will be greatly appreciated. like no joke.

I have 10 accidents on my record, ZERO at fault. the subaru club just hasn't heard all of my accident stories, but my old acura club knows all


My acura CL got hit from behind (hit and run, I followed them), got the bumper replaced, and the VERY NEXT WEEK got another hit and run from behind (got license plate). so i had to get ANOTHER bumper >_<

My Subaru is my 6th car all of my other cars have been totaled except one.
the suby did get it's rear drivers site hit pretty hard within the first two months of having it, but it was all fixed. If i pop my trunk you can still see where they cut

lol minor stuff.
2002- crashed on hick's road. my fault. no other parties invovled
2003- motor blown. (warrantied)
2003- front bumper came off (my fault. hit a jump at 100+ at a dry lake bed)
2003- car changed lanes right into my right side
2004 1st & 4th gear synchros gone (warrantied)
2006- repainted front end. lost my STi v2 front lip badge =(
2007- transmission grenaded by my friend
2008- radiator cracked
2008- new rear diff (oil just leaked out and I was running dry without knowing)
12/08- new clutch, new flywheel.
12/08- new clutch new flywheel...again
1/09- new driver side front axle
1/09- final new clutch/flywheel
2/09- ignitor coil assembly broke/came off
3/09- again...^
4/09- wierd vibrating noise. i think its the transmission again.

not to mention all the different times i've been pulled over all these years lol!

but I guess it's not as bad as having it totalled lol

edit: plus all the random times my dad back in the day, or myself due to lack of attention hitting low curbs while parking. scratching/breaking/destroying front lips/bumpers.
+ the the deer meat and bones that some car in front of me ran over and shot chunks at me.
+2 bunnies at the foglight. (foglight intact. foglight brackets didn't fare so well) as well as fender lining randomly ripping off my car lol

 

same many people have heard how many tickets i've gotten in my past and how much my insurance was
and i've proven it with the paperwork

Ive never gotten a speeding ticket in the wrx.....ONLY speeding ticket ive ever gotten was in my 69 bug!!! Going 67 in a 50... Told the officer i was building up my speed for the big *** hill he didnt by it tho

In the first 8 months i had my wrx i got pulled over about 6 times... 3 times for double the speed limit and no ticket

 

a buddy of mine lived in tracy, owned a bug, and would do that to get up the altamont hill!

going 90+ at the bottom, and maybe 50~ when he crested

 

hahaha awesome! I didnt really need to do it but it was worth a shot to try and get outa the ticket

 

unsafe turn at 15mph.

here is the list of 'problems' that i've suffered with my Mr2... i dont recall the time line, so i wont even bother with that...

blew out 4 struts - i bought them new and they were less than 1 year old - tokico HPs
blew 3 head gaskets
warped 2 heads
shattered the passenger side engine mount
broke the chassis point that the front engine mount connects to
shattered a rear rotor in half while on a canyon run
glazed a set of axxis metal master brake pads in 3 drives of a local twisty road
had to replace the steering rack after being forced off the road and into a ditch
shredded 2 timing belts
seized the alternator
spun a rod bearing
melted a piston (still have it too!)
pulled and destroyed an engine harness
bent 3 factory end links on the factory sway bars
and i've gone thru more sets of tires and brake pads than i can recall...

all of this within 3 years, and with my whopping 112hp low compression 4age.

no... i went from a dead stop (at a red light) to moving forward and making a left turn at 15mph. the officer said that my rear driver's side tire lifted off the pavement.

uh yeah. in a mid engine, rear wheel drive car with fully independent suspension. it is VERY unlikely that it would occur. especially with the weight of the transmission sitting right over that tire too...

i fought it and lost. the lesson here:
when you go before a judge to dispute something, you must CLEARLY state "i did not perform the action that the officer is describing." otherwise, the judge CAN take it as an admission of guilt.

btw - yes i have rotated the rear of my Mr2 around from a dead stop, and yes with only 112hp. obviously, i was not caught.
