This is what I found when I pulled off the bottom part of my dash to put in a viper keyless entry. It looks like there was an alarm in my car before, that got hacked out well some of it. Some one had fun with zip ties and quick splices. Now what should take me an hour to put in the viper is now going to be hours of fun fixing the hack job. Thought u guys would get a good laugh

 

Ugh.

May I recommend three things:

1. Beer.
2. A good soldering iron.
3. Heat shrink.

Those all do you sound like a good idea. I really do hate when people hack into factory wiring harnesses luckily I do have all those things. I should known it was going to be like this every time I work on something different my car I find that the last guy that owns my car did something wrong or just shotty he didn't even have the intercooler bolted down when I got it
