Taillight vinyl overlay installation?

Does anyone know of anyone or any shops that are good at installing vinyl overlays for the WRX hatchbacks? I just received my overlays and am a bit nervous about doing them myself after reading of people screwing up and ripping them... I can't even put a screen protector on my phone without screwing it up, so I think it's best to not even try doing tails by myself.

I'm in the South San Francisco area, but don't mind driving to get it done right. I've contacted a bunch of tint places, but they've all refused to do it.

Take it to Lyle at vinyl styles in San Carlos. He's done dozens of GR tail lights.

There's a shop I know in San Bruno that did my overlays. Did them in like hour and a half. PM me if interested.

Lyle did great work on mine. but if you have already bought the overlays he may not want to deal with installing them. Lyle said it was easier to cut the vinyl himself as it allows for a more clean install.

Ah.. damnit. Well we'll see what he says. Worst case I can have him do it and then sell the overlays. How much did he charge, if you don't mind me asking?

What's an estimate cost to have this done by a shop?

Had mine done at central coast tint in santa cruz. I had the kit already for them to install. $40 havent peeled in over a year. Headlights and taillights both vinyl tinted.

It's not difficult if you take your time. My tint guy sold me a few square feet of Tail light film for $10, and with a heat gun and spray bottle with mostly soapy water and 25% isopropyl alcohol, I had them done in about 1.5 hours.

If you remove the tails from the car, it's a piece if cake.
