Tahoe Boarding

Anyone when up this year yet? I have yet to go since it's basically a drought this year. No big storm. Planning to go this weekend but might not be worth it since it might just be riding on ice.

i've been up 14 (# 15 tomorrow ) times so far this season. with only 2 days of actual tree riding all day long :\

though i stick to mostly park, you can still have a blast. there's definetly enough snow to have a good time. but of course it could be better.

its not icy, through the tree's its hardpacked, so i wouldn't recommend rolling through there. though you technically can.

but groomers are a blast, you can fly down down them. a lot of places are making snow as well. yes, this season is ****, but there's enough snow to have fun.

I just went up this past saturday and it was alright, its bearable but we could use a lot more snow! It all depends where you go and what you are looking to do.

Kirkwoods open from top to bottom. They probably have the most snow in Tahoe right now. The groomers are a blast, the snow is good enough to stick turns and maintain high speeds. I'm heading up on thurs and fri, can't wait!

I was just in Bear Valley this weekend... I didn't do the resort, not enough snow. Did a couple off resort runs, but felt sketch.

I'll be up at Mt. Rose this weekend, and definitely Kirkwood next weekend. I hope at least some sort of system comes though by then.

Probably go watch Inconvenient Truth just to scare myself again.

I went snowboarding before christmas...haha more like rock boarding-pay-$64-for "6 lifts" aka 1 lonnnngg-run-boarding (heavenly) havent been since ski patrol killed it for me by pulling me over for weaving and hipping the side of the run back and forth. theyre like CHP

its funny how "global warming" was most talked about while it was a week or two of straight freezing for CA

im waiting for my beachfront property, and VW to make a RWD TDI

the reason there's no snow or storms is because there's this huge high preassure area above the sierra's. not global warming, and yes i DO believe in global warming.

C'mon folks!!! If we're gonna have any real fun on the slopes, we gotta send as much Mojo, prayers, voodoo, etc. to kick open that storm door!

I'm tired of these cursed High Pressure Systems parking on top of us for weeks at a time. So pls. do a li'l "snow" dance before hitting the sack tonite. We need to get this season rolling already!
