ANyone around Butternut/Mohawk know if they got any good snow?

I was thinking of goign to one or the other this weekned to get the kinks out before the season...

what is better, Butternut or Mohawk?

how far are they from Hartford?

Butternut is vastly better than Mohawk, and isn't that easy to get to from Hartford. Why not just head to Mt Snow, it's only 1.5 hours from Hartford.

Oh, BTW, the season is in full swing already.
