So, I dont know the general etiquette surrounding borrowing or renting of a Tactrix, but I'm looking for a 2.0 for a day or even a couple of hours. Anyone near the Peninsula have one they wouldn't mind loaning out? I'd pick up and drop off at your convenience, and I dunno, throw in a 6-pack of your fav brew when I'm done? Its basically my first year for smog and i have the stupid p2443 code and need to delete it before i got in for testing. Any help would be greatly appriciated . Thanks in advance

 

I have a spare Tactrix that I only use for tuning other people's cars. I'm not on the peninsula, but you can borrow for as long as needed if you leave some collateral. Or we can do what you need in my driveway (Dublin) or parking lot at work (Fremont).

I'm in Palo Alto and have one. I have PCMSCAN on my laptop to read/clear as well. Do you just need to clear it and run right down to smog?

 

I need to clear it off the ECU for good, so essentially reflash the ECU without having it read that particular code. Let me know if your available this Sunday i can work around your schedule..
