AT&T U-Verse

Anyone here have AT&T U-verse? What to you think about the service? Im thinking of getting the Max Internet (10mbps) with the U300 tv service. Any input as to how the uptime is and d/l speeds are and how the quality of HDTV is.

Thank you

Is that the service that only allows you to watch like 2 channels in your house at a time?

If it is, thats a joke.

I tend to record 2-3 HD channels at a time during primetime.

thats wierd, when we signed up for u-verse, they gave us up to 3 additional boxes, not including the main box which is a DVR, for free.

i quite like the service. it's cheap and the internet is fast. but this is coming from an old DSL internet service and crappy basic analog cable, so i dont have much of a comparison.

the HD channels i get are pretty clean and look great on my 56" LCD. it is true that they limit you to 1 HD feed coming into the house, so if someone is watching discovery HD, and i want to watch HD on a diff TV, i can only watch that channel. i think you can only record 1 HD feed at a time, but SD feeds, you can record more than one.

I had it installed on Sat 6/7 and so far so good. The Internet (MAX 10mb) is really fast. I had some downtime on sunday for a little bit and my HDTV was pixelated. They are coming back to fix it this sat. But other than that the service is great, great price wide channel assortment and fast
