Switch to a luxury car?
Hey guys,
So I've been driving with some buddies of mine who have BMW's and Audi's, and I'm just itching to pick one up. I'm probably looking for something older, like a 2002 or so BMW 330Ci or 2002 Audi S4. I wanted to see what you guys think about a switch to the german side?
I currently have a 2004 WRX with 27k miles, how much do you think I could get for that (in a trade in for example). It's all paid for.
TIA,
Oleg

Ever consider taking over a lease vehicle. A co-worker recently took over the lease of a 2004 M3. He says he got a really good deal.

BTW, Some guy in Scottsdale traded in his E60 M5, they're now selling it as Certified Pre-Owned...
the only problem i would have with german cars is that its harder to work on your own car, it's not as reliable, and when a problem does arise that you cannot diy, its going to cost an arm and leg.
whereas with japanese cars, those three problems arent really problems. especially with subaru.

Check out the newer Audi's. I test drove the A3 with the sport package (DSG) last Sunday and it is pretty quick and nice. Please take into account I currently drive an 85 Toyota.
I was looking at teh Passat, but the price was too close.
