A nice example of the super popular K swapped Honda, this is SportCar Motion's TIme Attack ITR. It has a naturally aspirated K24/K20A hybrid pushing some 305 hp and 230 ft/lbs.

man there are a LOT of new TA cars coming out of the woodwork this year. I think Redline is going to see a big boost in interest/ popularity.

^ **** YES. Been following this guy's build on club4ag. It's not done but reasonably budgeted and well executed.

Twin Turbo'd Hayabusa Ultima - AWD 1 engine powers the front and 1 engien powers the rear wheels. I got to see this in the flesh its wicked!
ZCars in the UK doing some other Engine swaps here a good video of what they are up to
How about a Midengined rear wheel drive mini cooper. This one has a K20A in the back. They also do Hayabusa too

Very tempting to believe you Krinkov, but I looked into it. Following the links in the actual build thread, and some googling, here are the numbers I crunched:
From the same hybridZ.org link, an LS1 was quoted around at 501lbs. (with T56 transmission)
From an LS1tech.com thread:
Here's the link:http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/small-...eight-ls1.html
Perhaps Krinkov could comment on these numbers as he is probably more familiar with the LS series.
Considering all things, I would go with....well ****, it's still a damn hard decision after the facts! On one hand, the 1UZFE does not require any sort of metric to imperial adaptors, and is from the same company. The LS1 is usually found with a 6 speed, is probably cheaper on average, and has extensive aftermarket support. Potatoes, Potahtoes.
I found this on the hybridz forum that the 1uzfe and the w58 weighs in at 466lbs...http://forums.hybridz.org/index.php?showtopic=32264
From an LS1tech.com thread:
Too be exact about this~a LS1 engine weighes 525lbs,the trans will weigh 180lbs there abouts! Hope that helps ya!

yeah you would think that engine weights would be easier to find out, not just for the LS but ALL engines Ive had trouble pinning down. And also it depends on how they are "dressed" meaning if its a bare bones longblock, or fully dressed with flywheel/clutch/Alt/AC/PS etc. all that right there cal add 80 lbs to an LS. rule of thumb though is a full LSmotor/tranny combo is 500-525lbs. that second dude you quoted is daf way off, the first number he quoted is for the motor and trans. 180lbs for a T56?!?! LOL! thats about double what they weight, I have one in my folks garage I pick up and carry, its about 90-100lbs, theres no way I can pick up and carry a guy my own size
Basically though, trucking companies dont **** around with their shipping weights, and a guy on my LS forum had a full LS swap shipped to him and the shipping bill had it at a bit over 500 lbs

I just purchased the ls2 complete with tranny, wires, computer.
And the weight was 509 according to the trucking company.
the only things missing were the dash to computer wires and all the air intake box including the air flow meter.

NICE! I think that's a Norwegian car, from the Gatebil sticker on the windshield. Gatebilers are the equivalent to modders here, except Norwegian motor laws are much stricter than any other nation in regards to personal or aftermarket modifications, so these cats are VERY hardcore through and through. The fines from Johann Law is something in the 4 digits per HP! I also think that's a Cobra motor from the intake? I thought Koeniggseggs ran AMG motors??
Krinkov - you're right about the T56, no way it'll be near 200 lbs. I was trippin, I hear it's a tad over 100 lbs with the stock clutch (which is something like 50 lbs!). Center of gravity with an LS will probably be lower too as the DOHC valvetrain shifts more weight upwards relative to a pushrod.
BTW, I cannot tell you guys how much I appreciate your contributions to this thread! Keep them coming!

^My understanding was that the early Koeniggseggs ran modified DOHC Ford V8's
From what I can find now they're making their own castings. Either way, the build thread specified that the engine pictured there is a "mock up" until they finish the build, then the Koeniggsegg engine goes in. I want to hear it when it's done.
