take the guy that made the drug to see his wife. make him stay there a while and then you try and buy it off him for the $2k and if he refuses still, you give him the guilt trip that she is going to die because of him and he can easily save her but he would rather be the one responsible for killing someone than not make an extra 2 grand.
then if that doesn't work, steal it. better to be put in jail for awhile then to have your wife die
this situation is like the movie john q. good movie by the way
oh yeah

Steal the drugs. Otherwise you will spend the rest of your life wondering if it would have saved her. While your at it... give that drugist a beat down for being a greedy SOB. :-)

Situational Ethics are fun
, but since I have no ethics, I'd steal that ish. Steal from a low life drug maker to save a loved ones life.

What if you could end ALL hunger in the world, stop ALL crime, end ALL diseases, and make everyone happy. All you have to do is kill an innocent child. Same situation as above, situational ethics type deal, end justifies the means.......

Assuming his wife has months to live and not days...I'd suggest Heinz write a letter to the editor of the local paper explaining the situation and pleading for donations. This would serve two purposes, particularly in light of the fact that both the cancer victim and chemist are local: 1) it may raise money to purchase the drug and 2) it would expose the local chemist as a person who places greed above human life and *may* guilt him into selling the drug at a discount to save face with the local community.
If this didn't work, I would figure out some way to steal it for my wife.
White male, 32 yo.

i say steal it, although i would hate to have to resort to that. the question is between letting the wife die or breaking in... at that point i'd be willing to try anything to save the loved one...
and the pharmacist
if he developed a drug to save ppl, he should WANT to save ppl!

Steal it cause it isn't valued enough to be more than a misdemeanor.
Forget it! Let the wife die, collect the insurance money.
Threaten to report the pharmacist to the FDA for selling a non-approved drug and have is license revoked, or he could provide the drug for free.
Take out a loan, buy the drug, give to wife, when it doesn't work, sue the pharmacist for false claims and selling a non-FDA approved drug, collect everything he's got.
Use the money from friends to get a pharmacology degree and invent a poison and an antidote. Poison the pharmacist that caused your wife to die, and tell him you can sell him the antidote for $400K. Then become a comic book villain.
Pretend you are in a psychology class and post a philosophical question on a car board, complete with misspellings, as a ruse to get the race and age and sex of many members in order to do racial profiling on modified car drivers for your real job as an investigator for the CHP.

Steal it, kidnap the drugist take all data he has on producing the drug, club him in the back of hte head so he forgets everything (inncluding his name) then infect him with the illness.
Live a hapy life with the information you stole frmo him and sell it for 401.00 a pop!
