Was that comment really warranted? Subaru Specialists and other i-Club vendors have hosted BBQs and dyno days for Toys For Tots, SPCA fund raising, and possibly other things that I may not have been aware of. Our vendors also help defray the cost of our track day events and this board.

Thank you, Alan.

We're providing a place for Justin to hold his BBQ; he asked us if he could use our shop because it tied in with his desired line of work. We're not in this to gain anything, just help out a kid with his senior project, and hopefully get some money for our terminally underfunded schools.

im sorry, i should explain where im coming from. its just that at my high school, underfunded as it is...should have our mooney go towards something...that helps the whole school. at our school..not even 1/10th of the senior class drives i tihnk something like 40 out of 550 students, i think the only students that drive are upper classmen or students who can afford cars, so it doesnt make sense to give money to people who already have money, u know what i mean? sorry i was harsh, i just..find people who drive so much luckier and fortunate than many others. i remember the times i had to take the bus..it sucked so much, now im giving rides to my friends who would have had to take the bus instead. im sorry though since i dont know where honeky is coming from or how his school is or the facitilies, it just didnt make much sense to me.

In the foothills in NorCal, lots of kids live 20+ miles from school, and so most have cars. It's totally different than SF, where you can (more) easily get around without one. Anyways, Justin's trying to help out his school, and I think it's a good application of his efforts. He's a car guy, after all.
