He servived because the driver's side cage was still intact. I'm amazed that his co-driver survived though. The in car camera was difficult to watch. You can see the cage push the passenger further and further to the left with each role. Scary.

I don't think it budged at all, just got a little scratched. They said those things go a few feet into the ground in order to be able to hold back tanks onto the road. Crazy. They're like boobie traps.

i cant belive that tho, that was a fatal crash, they just said peter got a Concution (sp?) and nothing about the co-driving

Just before the break they said the co-driver is ok with no major injuries but they are going to keep him in the hospital over night just in case.
