the black n purple ones are deadly? as far as venom??? or just biting your throat until you die.
Haha.. Usually they like warm, moist areas so stay away from piles of contruction rubbish, palm fronds and ti leaves - stuff like that. Since people don't usually do yard work on vacation you should be chill. The only other places I have seen them outside of that description was at that bar, and on the set of "One West Waikiki." If anyone remembers that show you are my hero. I used to be an extra.

I haven't ever seen the dark ones except for one dead one. They are very rare and smaller. From what I have heard, the venom is very poisonous and you "could die" from a bite. Since the ones I have seen are vile nasty horror movie creatures, I wouldn't want to tempt fate with the dark ones.

yeah. besides, by the time you lifted your axe to strike? that little critter's 100 legs would already be crawling all over you while it eats you alive. nothing short of flamethrower, or perhaps the vulcan cannon that you see Jesse Ventura use in the movie, Predator" will suffice.

or perhaps...arsenal from the Predator himself...like auto tracking capabillities inside that helmet, and a shoulder mounted laser cannon.

i think you are right.
an axe just wont cut it.

i would possibly want that blade that predator uses, that he throws. i mean attacking from a distance is best... you saw what happened to that mouse/rat at close range....

I vote for dumb and ****. Who knows what that beastie would suddenly decide to do... Yikes. I have a friend who has a terrarium with 4 scorpions, and even that freaks me out. Especially when they team up and are able to pick the roof up off it. Creepy.

But see, those aren't fake. That's why they are scary. I haven't personally seen a 10" long centipede, but I have heard they have been recorded up to around 12" where they sort of get too big to survive. The 4-8" long ones are freaking unreal scary. I knew a guy who thought he was a badarse, caught one, and snipped off it's fangs and let it run around on his chest. Later on he had nasty red welts where apparently the venom leaked onto his skin. These critters aren't funny.
